One decade later: La Movida still going strongby A. David Dahmer
It started a little over 10 years ago when Luis and Lupita Montoto rented time on a local radio station on the weekends and sold ads to support it while they maintained their successful cleaning business. A decade later, it has become the Madison area's first and only Spanish radio format radio station — WLMV-La Movida Radio-1480AM.

The Omega School Inc. Winter 2010 Commencement Ceremony was held Jan. 28 at Lapham Elementary School on Madison’s near eastside. Forty-one adult students received their GED/HSED high school completion diplomas and celebrated with family and friends.

Popular historical play in high demand"Buffalo Soldiers: the Legacy", by A. David Dahmer
Back by popular demand, "Buffalo Soldiers: The Legacy" has announced brand-new spring dates for the performances of its popular play.
Last year, "Buffalo Soldiers, the Legacy" premiered at the Overture Center for the Arts and quickly became a sold-out event. Richard Scott, writer and producer of the play, said that they had to turn 75-100 people away because they ran out of seats at the Overture Center.
