Homebuyers class coming to Boys & Girls Club of Dane County

MADISON —Two kids who grew up a couple of blocks from the South Madison Neighborhood Center, or the Boys & girls Club as it is called now, are coming together as adults to help strengthen their community. On Saturday, June 25, they are hosting a class to help people become homeowners and real estate investors. Marcus Neal and Victoria Harris grew up on Beld and Baird Streets, respectively — just two blocks from the Boys & Girls club. Neal is a National Mortgage Account Manager for National Bank wile Harris is the Parent Engagement Coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club.
The class will answer questions about the whole home buying process from attaining a mortgage, to finding your dream house and real estate investing. These topics will be covered by Neal and Brenda Armstrong from Century 21 Realty along with foreclosures and credit repair. Complete insurance information from homeowner and renters to life insurance will be discussed by Larry Sain of State Farm Insurance. Toni Kirkendoll of Legal Shield with be talking about the hot topics of identity theft protection and legal assistance plans.
